LOCATION
Mandrem Beach
Sthira Yoga Teacher Training School is located in Mandrem beach, a coastal village in North Goa. It is known for its picturesque wide beaches and astounding sunsets.
It is a beautiful place especially during high tide when the seawater rushes into the Mandrem creek or the river. It is also a turtle nesting beach and is one of the protected beaches in Goa.
How to reach
Airport: from Dabolim airport (53km) or Mopa airport (30km)
Train: the closest railway station is Pernem (15km)
Bus: from Panaji, the state capital of Goa (28km)
The resort has two amazing Yoga Shalas and a study space, located in a serene, quiet location amongst the palm trees.
We provide blocks, straps, cushions and bolsters.
We sincerely suggest you to bring your own yoga mat and a light sheet to cover yourself during shavasana or Yoga Nidra.
You can buy a simple yoga mat from the local market or we provide.

ACCOMMODATION
There are two types of accommodations eco-cottages and rooms.
They are beautiful spaces including bathrooms, hot water, wifi, towels and mosquito nets.
The cottages are eco-friendly.
The Rooms in the concrete buildings have air-conditioning. Some rooms have a fridge and a microwave.
Both cottages and rooms are available in single occupancy or twin-sharing.
Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, cottages and in the shalas.
FOOD
All meals offered are vegetarian, wholesome and nutritious.
Morning and afternoon
Herbal tea and bananas.
Brunch
Porridge/smoothy, muesli, yoghurt and continental
Pancakes, bread, butter and jam
Indian savoury dish like chick peas or aloo paratha or Upma
Fresh tropical fruits like papaya, pineapple and watermelon.
Coffee, tea and mint tea
Dinner
Will be a traditional Indian buffet including a range of vegetarian dishes
Salads, soup, dhal, curries, sautéed veggies, rice and naan.
Vegan and gluten free options are also available.
