Deepavali (Diwali) ~ Festival of Lights!

This is a celebration of victory of goodness over evil, light over darkness, positivity over negativity, love over hatred, trust over deception, freedom over suppression and truth over falsehood. When everything around us is unsettling, expectations are failing, trust is breached, business is not going the way we want it and something challenging is going on in the family, how to ride these waves ? Invoking the energy and spirit from within!

I invite you to try this!

  • Preparation : Light a candle. If you like, you can burn an incense. Let the candle be right in front of you 2 to 3 feet away. Switch off other lights.

  • Quieten your mind - Sit comfortably. Take a few minutes to practice deep breathing and centering your mind on the present moment before beginning this exercise. Diaphragmatic breathing or yogic breathing will help.

  • 5 mins of deep breathing : 5 mins of conscious deep breathing with closed eyes.

  • Gazing the light : Gently gaze the flame of the candle and close your eyes and visualize. Visualize the light in the third eye centre. Repeat this exercise of gazing 3 times.

  • Visualize : Visualize this light spreading throughout the body and yourself as a lighted being, Diva. This light dispels all the darkness, ignorance and negativity from within.

  • Closing : Close the practice with positive affirmations.

  • Observe : Observe how you feel after the practice.

  • Give time to yourself everyday 20 mins .

Time to meditate and worship on the intense energy ! Time to invoke the inner potential!

Best time to invoke energy (Shakti) of all forms, in the POSITIVE SPIRIT and RIGHT DIRECTION. 1) shakti to protect and love, 2) shakti to acquire right attitudes and attract right people 3) shakti to learn and gain wisdom.

This is the time to correct our course of life. Time to make necessary amendments and adjustments in our attitudes and relationships.

Let's take some time everyday to meditate and invoke the energy from within.
